Portrait of Dana Dúbravská

Dana Dúbravská

Dana is a coach and trainer. Her approach starts from the idea that behind obvious questions and problems there are often hidden patterns or entirely different issues, and that recognizing them opens the way to lasting change.

Her approach rests on a unique combination of experience, education and training. She has more than ten years of experience leading teams. Her academic background brings together three streams: a data-driven, evidence-based approach (psychology and neuroscience), socio-cultural and critical analysis (Jungian and post-Jungian studies), and practical business application (business management). To this she adds advanced coaching training and ongoing training in Jungian psychoanalysis.

She keeps learning and stays up to date with new findings. Her own experience matters as much: for more than fifteen years she has practiced Zen meditation and worked on her own personal development.

She completed master's studies in psychology and the neuroscience of mental health at King's College London, Jungian and post-Jungian studies at the University of Essex, and psychology at Arden University. She is training in Jungian psychoanalysis at the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich.

She has worked in coaching since 2007. She trained in the co-active approach at the Coaches Training Institute and in the Jungian approach at the Jungian Coaching School, where she currently also lectures. She is a certified ICF coach (PCC), and in the UK she holds the title of Chartered Coaching Psychologist (CPsychol) with the British Psychological Society. She is also a member of the International Association for Jungian Studies.

She also studied business management at City University of Seattle. For more than ten years she held management roles in advertising, telecommunications and logistics at companies including DHL, T-Mobile and HAVAS. She led teams of various sizes, up to 100 people.

Dana is also a co-author of Mandalive®, an art therapy tool for working with positive and negative emotions, qualities and behaviors. It has also been published as a book, Mandalas for a Better Life.

In 2019 the portal podnikajte.sk included her in its "49 Heroines of Slovak Business" publication, and in 2024 she was nominated for the TREND Woman in Business 2024 award.
